Facebook And Instagram Ad Mockup
Type your text, headline and button, drop your creative: you see your ad in the feed and in Stories before it goes live.
Meta recommends 90 characters at most for the ad text and 25 for the headline. In the feed, it shows creatives from 4:5 to 1.91:1 and crops anything outside that range from the center; in Stories and Reels, 9:16 fills the whole screen.
Indicative preview, drawn by the tool. Recommended lengths: Meta developer documentation, read on 23 October 2026. Formats: specs published by Meta, read on 28 September 2026.

How the preview is built
Aspect ratio = width ÷ height 1,080 ÷ 1,350 = 0.8 → 4:5
An ad is judged like a shop window seen from the street: in the feed, people see the page name, the first lines of text, the creative, then the headline and the button, and they decide in a second. The tool draws these elements in that order, with the words you type.
The creative follows the rules Meta publishes. Between 4:5 and 1.91:1, it shows in full in the feed; outside that range, it is cropped from the center, and the preview shows that crop. In Stories and Reels, 9:16 fills the whole screen and the bottom 35 % is covered by the interface: the tool can show you that area.
Three things to check before going live
- The text: Meta recommends 90 characters at most. What matters most should fit in the first sentence.
- The headline: 25 characters at most according to Meta, enough to name the offer, not to explain it.
- The vertical creative: in Stories and Reels, keep text and logo out of the bottom 35 %, where the interface shows.
