SWOT Analysis Template

List your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats: the SWOT matrix is drawn alongside, then the tool crosses the boxes to draw four lines of action from them.

Strengths and weaknesses come from the business itself, opportunities and threats come from its market. The matrix becomes useful when the boxes are crossed: a strength facing an opportunity, a weakness facing a threat.

          The four cross questions

Matrix filled in your browser, nothing is sent. It starts from a fictional example: replace it with your business.

Your Strengths Are Listed. What About Your Ads?

Your strengths are the arguments of your ads, and your opportunities tell you where to run them. Monthly management of your Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns starts from there.

            How to read it

Internal: strengths and weaknesses External: opportunities and threats

Strengths and weaknesses come from you: your offer, your team, your resources. Opportunities and threats come from outside: the market, competitors, the season, regulation. The same thing goes in one box only.

The matrix pays off when the boxes are crossed: a strength facing an opportunity gives an attacking line, a weakness facing a threat tells you what to protect first. The tool asks these four questions on the first line of each box.

            Two uses

            • Before a marketing plan: the matrix tells you what to build your ads on, your strengths, and what to fix before speeding up, your weaknesses.
            • Before a meeting: a clear page to share with a partner, a bank or a supplier.

            Frequently asked questions

            What is a SWOT analysis?

A four-box table: a business’s strengths and weaknesses, then the opportunities and threats of its market. SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats.

            What goes in each box?

Strengths and weaknesses are internal: your offer, your team, your resources. Opportunities and threats are external: the market, competitors, the season, regulation.

            Is my matrix sent anywhere?

No: it is filled in your browser, and nothing leaves your page.
